Job summary

Whiteblue is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, build, and optimize Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines for automated OS image deployment. The role emphasizes creating standardized PC images using Packer, MDT, and PXE, with scripting in PowerShell, Bash, and Groovy.

You will troubleshoot complex deployment issues, manage IaC repositories, and ensure image stability and security compliance prior to rollout in a 9:00–18:00 IST work window, from the office.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of DevOps experience.
• Experience with Jenkins-based CI/CD automation.
• Strong OS imaging knowledge for Windows and Linux.
• Experience building automated build/test/deploy pipelines.

Responsibilities

Location: We are seeking a DevOps Engineer specializing in CI/CD automation and Operating System (OS) deployment. You will design, build, and optimize automated pipelines using Jenkins to build, test, and deploy standardized PC images.

• Pipeline Development: Design and maintain Jenkins pipelines to automate the creation of "golden" PC images.
• Image Management: Use tools like Packer, MDT, or PXE to package OS builds, drivers, and standard application suites.
• Scripting & Automation: Write robust PowerShell, Bash, and Groovy scripts to eliminate manual deployment steps.
• Testing & Validation: Integrate automated testing frameworks within Jenkins to validate image stability and security compliance before rollout.
• Version Control: Manage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) repositories containing image configuration and deployment scripts.
• Troubleshooting: Resolve complex deployment failures, driver conflicts, and network booting (PXE) issues.
• Proven experience in DevOps in general, and Jenkins in particular
• Deep understanding of Windows/Linux imaging processes
