This role will focus on maintaining and growing our existing infrastructure through server provisioning, configuration management, availability monitoring and cyclical maintenance.**Responsibilities:*** Lead development and support resource for infrastructure automation framework.* Mastery in IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible, with experience in creating complex, multi-tiered environments across cloud providers and on-premise infrastructure.* Proficient in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Go for custom automation tasks and tool integration.* Capability to envision and drive the DevOps strategy across the organization, aligning it with business goals.* Develop and maintain system automation documentation and version control.* Create, define, maintain and update server installation/configuration standards – OS, hardware, software, and version levels.* Lead continuous quality improvement process with operations and deployment teams.* Deploy, maintain and evolve software and system monitoring services.* Design and deploy a continuous integration and deployment environment.* Involvement in leadership and mentoring of others on current and future toolsets and technologies, ensuring security is integral to every phase of the deployment pipeline.* Manage DevOps projects, from planning through execution, including risk management and stakeholder communication.* Championing the creation and maintenance of living documentation that evolves with the infrastructure, ensuring knowledge is preserved and accessible.* Other duties as assigned.**Education:** Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, related field or equivalent combination of education and experience**Experience:*** 5 years' experience in deployment, management, and operations on the AWS platform.* Experience developing configuration management with AWX and/or AWS based automation tools.* Knowledge of Deploying, managing, and operating scalable, highly available, and fault tolerant systems on AWS.**Preferred:*** Technical expertise in deployment, management, and operations on the AWS platform.* AWS SysOps, DevOps, Solutions Architect or other certifications.* Experience developing configuration management with Chef and/or AWS based automation tools.* Knowledge of Deploying, managing, and operating scalable, highly available, and fault tolerant systems on AWS.* Experience with Alerting and Monitoring Systems (Cloudwatch/LogicMonitor preferred).* Experience in server operating systems including Windows (2016, 2019 and beyond) and Linux (Ubuntu 18.04 and beyond).* Experience with core networking protocols, network troubleshooting, and load balancing concepts (Amazon ELB, ALB, NLB preferred).* Experience programming or scripting in PowerShell, CURL, UNIX shell, Python, Ruby, Bash and JSON.* Experience in software deployment procedures and version control.* Knowledge of ITIL/Change Management processes.* Knowledge of HIPAA, and PCI regulations.* Experience in performing database management or development.* Experience with Lean and Agile development methodologies.**Team Member Competencies:*** Demonstrate and support the organization's core values.* Give honest and constructive feedback to other team members.* Maintains a positive attitude.
