A high-growth data analytics consultancy is seeking a DevOps Engineer to strengthen its infrastructure and enhance the performance of its Azure hosted platform. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in a DevOps role, with expertise in Terraform and Azure DevOps. Responsibilities include automating deployment processes, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and managing containerized services. This position offers a hybrid work model based in Pune, India, with opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role.
• Expertise with Terraform, Git, and Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Snowflake is required.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

You’ll play a key part in maturing our DevOps capabilities and enhancing the performance and resilience of our Azure hosted platform.

What you’ll be doing…

You’ll play a central role in building, maintaining and optimising the infrastructure that underpins our Snowflake and Azure ecosystem.

You’ll work closely with our platform team and data engineering teams to ensure seamless operations and a consistent, scalable environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Implementing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform Enterprise
• Automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration to drive consistency and scalability
• Managing code repositories and implementing CI/CD pipelines
• Automating deployment processes to ensure quality, security and repeatability
• Using Ansible for configuration management and system automation
• Managing containerised services within Azure
• Administering Snowflake within the Azure platform
• Embedding DevOps best practices across security, compliance and cost management
• Collaborating with the wider team to continually improve DevOps workflows and operational excellence

In your first 3–6 months, success might look like:

• Delivering stable, fully automated IaC deployments using Terraform Enterprise
• Establishing or optimising CI/CD pipelines that enhance delivery speed and quality
• Improving reliability and governance across our Snowflake and Azure estate
• Driving measurable improvements in deployment automation, system configuration and platform scalability

What you’ll need to succeed…

We’re looking for someone who brings a mix of experience, curiosity and collaboration.

You might be a great fit if you have:

• Proven 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role, including expertise with Terraform, Git and Azure DevOps
• Experience working with Snowflake
• Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins)
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills
• Azure certifications (nice to have but not required)

It’s useful (not a must) if you also have:

• Experience with SAP source systems (ECC, S/4HANA) as part of an Azure Estate
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI
• Experience with SAP BI tools e.g. BODS, Business Objects - Webi
• Exposure to DBT and Theobold.

This role might not be the right fit if you’re looking for:

• A highly rigid environment with little room for experimentation or improvement
• Work that is purely support focused without ownership of automation, engineering or optimisation
• A role with minimal cross team collaboration
