Veetechnologies in India seeks an engineer to design and tune large-scale flow network models for chilled water plants, evaluating performance under VSD pumping, DP reset, valve staging, and chiller/tower staging.

The role requires deep knowledge of thermodynamics, hydraulics, and flow control, with experience in Flow-network tools (Flownex preferred) and CFD (Fluent/STAR-CCM+). Proficiency in Python, MATLAB or C++ is a plus.

Qualifications

• Systems-level thinking and ability to build large-scale FNMs for chilled water plants.
• Strong background in thermodynamics, heat transfer, hydraulics, and chilled water systems.
• Experience with flow-network tools and CFD software.
• Knowledge of P&ID/MEP documentation; CAD software familiarity.

Technical requirements:

• Systems-level thinking (able to independently build and tune large-scale flow network models (FNMs) of chilled water plants and understand how they behave under different control schemes (VSD pumping/DP reset, valve staging, chiller/tower staging, primary-secondary pumping)).
• Strong grasp of thermodynamics, heat transfer, hydraulics, and chilled water systems (flow control, balancing, operating envelopes).
• Flow-network tool experience (Flownex preferred; Flomaster, HYSYS, or equivalent).
• Working CFD knowledge (Cadence Reality DC preferred; Fluent, STAR-CCM+, or equivalent).
• P&ID/MEP document literacy; AutoCAD/Revit.
• Hyperscale/liquid-cooling exposure a plus.
• Python/C++/MATLAB a plus.
• Co-SIM and PIPE-FLO software knowledge.
