Job summary

SYSTRA India CTR is seeking a Senior Design Engineer for Building Structures to lead the structural design of elevated metro projects and related buildings. The role requires strong background in large-scale infrastructure, coordination across disciplines, and delivering high-quality designs within deadlines.

Ideal candidates will have 5–10 years of experience, proficiency in STAAD Pro, ETABS and BIM tools like Revit, and a track record of delivering complex projects in multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Extensive knowledge of Indian and International design codes and standards.
• Proficient in structural analysis software such as STAAD Pro, ETABS, Midas Civil, Midas Gen and AutoCAD.
• Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools like Revit.
• Experience designing elevated RC and Steel structures including Metro Stations, Depots, Buildings, FOBs and industrial facilities.

We are seeking application for the position of Senior Design Engineer for Building Structures.

Missions/Main Duties

Candidate should have 5-10years of experience as a Structural Design Engineer, managing and designing the structural design of elevated metro station projects and building developments. The role requires a strong background in structural engineering, particularly in large-scale infrastructure projects, along with a proven ability to coordinate interdisciplinary efforts, optimize designs for cost efficiency, and deliver high-quality designs within established timelines.

Profile/Skills

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Extensive knowledge of Indian and International design codes and standards.
• Proficient in structural analysis software such as STAAD Pro, ETABS, Midas Civil, Midas Gen and AutoCAD.
• Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools like Revit.
• Working experience in designing elevated RC and Steel structure including Metro Station, Depot Structure, Buildings and Industrial Buildings, Commercial Buildings, Foot overbridges (FOBs), Underground Tanks etc.
• Hands-on experience in handling International Projects
• Hands-on experience in Post/Pre Tensioned design.
