Qualifications

• DBA experience with enterprise-scale systems.
• Expert-level PostgreSQL performance tuning experience is mandatory.
• Strong working knowledge of MSSQL Server and MySQL.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including RDS, Aurora, EC2, and S3 backups.
• Strong SQL expertise with a deep understanding of query execution plans.
• Experience in automation and scripting using Python or Shell.
• Exposure to DevOps practices such as CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.

This role will lead database strategy, performance optimization, and reliability engineering for large-scale, mission‑critical platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead PostgreSQL performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Manage and optimize MSSQL and MySQL environments.
• Design and maintain HA/DR, backup, and replication strategies.
• Ensure database reliability, monitoring, and incident resolution.
• Work with AWS services (RDS, Aurora, EC2, S3) and support cloud-native architectures.
• Drive automation and support DevOps practices (CI/CD, scripting).

Skills & Experience

• DBA experience with enterprise-scale systems.
• Expert-level PostgreSQL performance tuning experience (mandatory).
• Strong working knowledge of: MSSQL Server, MySQL.
• Hands‑on experience with: AWS (RDS, Aurora, EC2, S3 backups), Monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent).
• Strong SQL expertise with deep understanding of query execution plans.
• Experience in automation/scripting (Python, Shell).
• Exposure to DevOps practices (CI/CD, IaC using Terraform/CloudFormation preferred).
