Mopid in Bengaluru, Karnataka is hiring a Senior Data Scientist to tackle a broad range of data science and ML problems across industries. You will work directly with clients to translate complex, unstructured problems into data-driven solutions and build scalable models.

You will engage with clients, work on data extraction from big data platforms, and apply statistical methods and ML algorithms to deliver actionable insights while maintaining model performance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years of relevant machine learning experience.
• At least 1 year of Generative AI experience.
• Fluency in Python, R or Java.
• Strong grounding in statistical and machine learning concepts.
• Hands-on knowledge of Python libraries: SciPy, NumPy, Pandas, IPython, Scikit-learn.
• Knowledge of distributed big data processing (PySpark, Jupyter, Linux, AWS).
• Strong data interpretation and problem-solving skills.
• High sense of ownership in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Perform hypothesis testing, insight generation, root cause analysis and factor analysis.
• Develop predictive and prescriptive statistical models using machine learning techniques and algorithms.
• Train and test models, improve accuracy and monitor model performance.
• Extract data from EDW / big data platforms and prepare datasets (base data creation, aggregation, transformation) and perform EDA.
• Engage with clients to understand business needs and present findings.
