Job summary

Grid Dynamics is seeking a Generative AI Engineer to join its Data Science team. You will design and deploy AI applications powered by LLMs to enhance financial planning, integrate LLMaaS with client-hosted LLMs, and optimize text-to-SQL for complex databases.

You will train and fine-tune models, improve data quality, and develop knowledge graphs to reflect financial data relationships. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to drive business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Generative AI, NLP, and LLMs using OpenAI, Llama.
• Strong proficiency in text-to-SQL conversion techniques and tools, for complex database schemas.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL with AI-centric libraries and frameworks.
• Able to optimize GenAI solutions for enterprise environments, including latency reduction, token usage, and cost management.
• Experience in building and managing AI agents for task automation.
• Solid understanding of data management, including data pre-processing and augmentation with expert-level skills in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries for large datasets and experience with query performance tuning and execution plan analysis.
• Experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and deployment of AI applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively within a team environment.

We are seeking a skilled Generative AI Engineer to join our Data Science team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and implementing applications powered by Large Language Models (LLMs) to enhance our financial planning processes. This role requires expertise in integrating custom LLM-as-a-Service (LLMaaS) solutions with self-hosted LLMs from the client’s AI platform, along with proficiency in text-to-SQL conversion and agentic modeling.
