Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in Data Science, ML, or Advanced Analytics.
• Proven experience in forecasting solutions deployed in production.
• Experience with large-scale datasets and business forecasting problems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced forecasting models for business planning and decision-making.
• Build and maintain scalable production-grade forecasting pipelines.
• Develop end-to-end ML solutions from data prep to deployment and monitoring.
• Implement and optimize time-series forecasting for demand, sales, supply chain.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Scientist with strong expertise in Forecasting and Predictive Analytics to join our growing Data Science team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining forecasting models at scale and building robust production pipelines that support business-critical forecasting use cases.

The role requires a strong foundation in machine learning, time-series forecasting, statistical modeling, and building, implementation of Production Pipelines, along with the ability to work closely with business stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced forecasting models for business planning and decision-making.
• Build and maintain scalable production-grade forecasting pipelines.
• Develop end-to-end machine learning solutions, from data preparation and feature engineering to model deployment and monitoring.
• Implement and optimize time-series forecasting techniques for demand forecasting, sales forecasting, supply chain planning, and related use cases.
• Evaluate model performance and continuously improve forecasting accuracy through experimentation and innovation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, data engineers, product teams, and delivery teams.
• Automate model training, validation, deployment, and monitoring processes.
• Drive best practices in model governance, reproducibility, and productionization.
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the growth of the analytics team.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in forecasting, machine learning, and AI.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Candidates from premier institutes such as Indian Institute of Technology, NITs, IISc, ISI, or other reputed institutions will be preferred.

Experience

• 4–8 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Advanced Analytics.
• Proven experience in developing and deploying forecasting solutions in production environments.
• Experience working with large-scale datasets and business forecasting problems.

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in Time Series Forecasting techniques and models.
• Hands-on experience with forecasting frameworks such as:
• oARIMA / SARIMA
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience with SQL and data manipulation libraries.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with building, implementation of Production Pipelines, model deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and production monitoring.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and workflow orchestration tools is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in CPG, Retail, Supply Chain, Demand Planning, or Forecasting domains.
• Experience leading forecasting projects from conception to deployment.
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to communicate complex analytical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
