About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Scientist with strong domain expertise in Oil & Gas, Power Generation, or Process Industries, combined with deep exposure to Data Science, AI/ML, and Industrial Software. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in shaping and guiding the development of data-driven B2B SaaS solutions for industrial applications, leveraging deep operational insight and advanced analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI/ML teams to design solutions that align with real-world industrial use cases
• Provide domain expertise and strategic guidance in Oil & Gas, Power, or Chemicals to product, engineering, and data science teams
• Define product requirements and influence roadmap based on domain knowledge and market needs
• Serve as a thought leader in industrial IoT, predictive maintenance, asset management, and reliability engineering
• Support GTM teams in customer discussions, industry presentations, and positioning of the product offering
• Lead knowledge transfer, training, and mentoring for internal teams on industry-specific processes and pain points

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of total experience, with hands‑on experience with Data Science / AI / ML teams
• Mandatory: Extensive experience in manufacturing operations within Oil & Gas, Power Generation, or Chemicals
• Proven track record in developing and launching B2B SaaS products for industrial environments
• Strong understanding of industrial IoT, predictive analytics, Process Optimization, machine learning, and digital transformation
• Familiarity with industrial asset management, maintenance operations, and reliability engineering
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between business and technical stakeholders
• Preferred: MBA or relevant advanced technical degree (e.g., Engineering, Data Science, Operations Research)

Required Skills

• Global exposure across different geographies and regulatory environments
• Prior experience working with digital twins, SCADA, CMMS, or EAM systems
• Published thought leadership or public speaking experience at industry forums
