Job summary

DigiKey Global Capability Center in Bengaluru, Karnataka seeks an experienced ML Platform Engineer to implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for ML workflows and operationalize GenAI systems. The role focuses on monitoring, governance, and building reusable data science templates to enable faster delivery.

The candidate should have strong Python skills, hands-on with Docker/Kubernetes, and experience deploying ML in real-time and batch environments, with a proactive incident response mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field
• 0.5 to 7 years total IT experience with 3+ years in Model Ops
• Strong Python and software engineering practices (testing, Git, modular code)
• Experience deploying ML systems in batch and real-time environments
• Hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS preferred)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions)
• Experience implementing monitoring/alerting for production systems
• Act as the primary platform contact for Model Ops
• Provide support and participate in incident response and root-cause analysis
• Mentor junior engineers to enable L1/L2 support and contribute to internal platform standards
