Essential Functions

• Designs or modifies data models to solve complex database requirements considering business and application needs. Organizes metadata for use by teams.
• Plans, conducts and coordinates the design of state-of-the‑art data model designs and metadata management.
• Provides application‑level data modeling for project development teams.
• Assists with creating and maintaining enterprise‑wide data standards.
• Participates in enterprise‑wide logical data modeling and leads efforts on assigned data subject areas.
• Assists with the implementation of metadata management tools.
• Facilitates formal and informal discussions to support database designs.
• Participates in the implementation and management of the global metadata repository.
• Identifies metadata sources, develops metadata management capabilities, monitors metadata quality, and develops common data definitions.
• Coordinates testing and documentation of the global metadata repository and conducts user interviews to gather metadata requirements to insure business requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience Req
• Database systems knowledge with a minimum of five (5) years IT with two (2) years experience in the data administration area. Req
