Job summary

EY is seeking a Collibra Data Governance Architect to design, implement, and optimize data governance processes using Collibra catalog and DQ capabilities. The role focuses on metadata management, workflow customization, and enterprise integration to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.

The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish data stewardship and lead governance initiatives, backed by strong reporting using Excel and SQL.

Qualifications

• High level of proficiency in using Collibra Data Catalog for data governance activities, including workflow development
• Expertise in metadata management and implementing metadata cataloging processes to enhance data discoverability and governance
• Experience designing and implementing data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures for data integrity, security and regulatory compliance
• Proficiency in Collibra workflow development, including custom workflows
• Familiarity with integration architecture to enable interoperability between Collibra and other enterprise systems
• Collibra Ranger Certification
• Collibra DQ expertise
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel, for reporting and data analysis; SQL, HTML

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain data stewardship and ownership roles
• Manage metadata to ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across the enterprise
• Utilise Collibra to drive data governance activities and provide training to teams to enhance adoption and maturity
• Lead or assist in project management activities related to data governance initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder alignment
• Provide expert guidance and support to metadata stewards, ensuring compliance with governance policies
• Conduct training sessions, workshops, and demos for various stakeholders, including senior management, to promote data governance awareness and adoption
• Facilitate technical architecture discussions and provide recommendations aligned with industry best practices and organizational standards

The opportunity

Critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing data governance processes and solutions, particularly leveraging the Collibra platform catalogue (mandatory) and DQ.

• High level of proficiency in using Collibra Data Catalog for data governance activities, including workflow development and operational model design.
• Expertise in metadata management and implementing metadata cataloging processes to enhance data discoverability, accessibility, and governance.
• Proven experience supporting the design and implementation of data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures that ensure data integrity, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in Collibra workflow development, including custom workflow creation and optimization.
• Familiarity with integration architecture to enable seamless interoperability between Collibra and other enterprise systems.
• Collibra Ranger Certification
• Collibra DQ expertise
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, for reporting and data analysis; SQL, HTML
