Job summary

At Atlassian, we are seeking a Senior Data Engineering Manager to lead our Finance Data Engineering team and scale our analytics platform. You will mentor engineers, set technical direction, and collaborate with Business, Data Science, and Analytics Platform teams to deliver trusted data across the company.

This role emphasizes leadership, architectural vision, and delivery discipline, with opportunities to influence data quality, governance, and enablement across multiple product and finance

Qualifications

• 6–8+ years in a software development role (Individual Contributor).
• 4+ years of people management experience leading agile teams.
• Experience with cloud stacks: AWS, S3, Databricks, Spark/Spark Streaming, graph databases, dbt.
• Knowledge of enterprise data architectural standards, dimensional modeling, test automation, and continuous delivery.
