Job summary

Capco is seeking a Design Lead with Cloud (GCP) experience to drive cloud-based data solutions. The role requires 8 to 12 years of experience, strong data background, and expertise in GCP components such as GCS, BigQuery, AirFlow, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub/Kafka, and DataFlow.

Experience with analytics solutions (ML/AI & BI) is beneficial but not required. You will work within a large, geographically dispersed programme, translating complex technical concepts for a broad audience and ensuring secure,

Qualifications

• Strong data background covering storage, transformation, event processing and APIs.
• GCP platform skills with hands-on experience in components like GCS, BigQuery, AirFlow, Cloud SQL, PubSub/Kafka, DataFlow.
• Knowledge of IAM and security concepts on cloud environments.
• Experience in large, distributed programs and ability to present solutions to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design lead for cloud-based solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
• Coordinate data engineering efforts across storage, processing and analytics components.
• Articulate and present technical solutions to stakeholders at multiple levels.

Job Description

Design Lead with Cloud (GCP) (Experience - 8 to 12 Years)

• Strong data background (data storage, transformation, event processing, APIs, IAM, security)
• Google Cloud Platform skills (as this is where the solutions are being developed/deployed)
• Must have good Experience/knowledge on GCP components like GCS, BigQuery, AirFlow, Cloud SQL, PubSub/Kafka, DataFlow and Google Cloud SDK
• Any GCP related certification is an added advantage
• Beneficial to have knowledge/experience of analytics solutions (ML/AI & BI) - note though that this is not a Data Scientist role.
• Experience of working within a large, complex and geographically dispersed programme
• Ability to articulate and present solutions at the right level for a wide audience.
