Job summary

Univedge Consulting LLC is seeking an experienced Data Engineer (7–10 years) to design and implement enterprise data solutions using Informatica IDMC CDI/CAI. You will develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, optimize complex SQL, and automate tasks with Unix scripts and Python.

You will work in an offshore delivery model, collaborating with architects and analysts to ensure data quality and performance across cloud and on‑premise systems. Prior cloud data platform experience is required.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of overall experience in Data Engineering and ETL development.
• Extensive hands‑on experience with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC).
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex data transformations and performance optimization.
• Strong experience with Unix/Linux scripting.
• Hands‑on experience with Python for data engineering, automation, and scripting.
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Oracle OCI, or Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities

This role requires a strong development-oriented professional who can independently design, develop, troubleshoot, and support data integration solutions in an offshore delivery environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data integration pipelines using Informatica IDMC, with a strong focus on Cloud Data Integration (CDI) and Cloud Application Integration (CAI).
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for enterprise data integration and migration initiatives.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation logic.

• Strong expertise in:
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex data transformations and performance optimization.
• Strong experience with Unix/Linux scripting.
• Hands‑on experience with Python for data engineering, automation, and scripting.
• Experience working with at least one of the following cloud data platforms:
• Databricks
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in an offshore delivery environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of CI/CD practices for data engineering projects.
• Experience integrating enterprise applications using cloud‑native integration services.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT best practices.
• Experience with cloud‑based data migration and modernization projects.
