Job summary

ITTDigital in Bengaluru, India is seeking a Senior Data Engineer specializing in ETL and Data Warehouse solutions. You will design and implement data flows, optimize load plans, and ensure reliable batch processing in a large-scale warehouse environment.

You should bring 5+ years of experience, strong SQL/PL/SQL, basic Python and shell scripting, and hands-on ETL with SCD. Knowledge of cloud tech and CDC is a plus; you will gather requirements, debug ETL issues, monitor jobs, and continuously

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building data solutions in a warehouse environment.
• Strong knowledge of writing complex SQL and PL/SQL.
• Basic Python and shell scripting skills.
• Experience with ETL methodologies and SCD implementations.
• Exposure to cloud technologies is a plus.
• Experience with change data capture is an added advantage.
• Experience with relational databases such as DB2 and PostgreSQL.
• Ability to gather requirements and translate into data flows.
• Strong debugging, batch scheduling and monitoring skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Take, understand & gather requirements, develop & implement the Business requirement/ Flows
• Debug and handle ETL failures on daily basis
• Scheduling & Monitoring of Batch Jobs
• Prepare Plans for all ETL Procedures and architectures
• Data Integration from various sources & adhoc requirements including Data Extraction
• Tuning and Optimizing the Existing Load Plans as and when required

About the job Senior Data Engineer-ETl/DWH

Skill set required:

5+ years of experience in implementing data solutions in a Warehouse environment is must.

Strong knowledge in writing complex SQL & PL/SQL is mandatory.

Basic Python, shell scripting is mandatory.

Should have experience in ETL methodology and hands on in implementing SCD's.

Exposure to Cloud technologies added advantage.
