Job summary

Connexr is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and manage scalable data solutions on Azure. You will drive complex implementations, ensure best practices, and mentor junior engineers while contributing to global data initiatives.

You will build ETL/ELT pipelines with Azure Data Factory, use Azure Databricks and Synapse for scalable analytics, write SQL Server scripts, and create dashboards in Power BI.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Azure data platforms and end-to-end data solutions.
• Experience designing, developing and maintaining scalable data pipelines.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to global data initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Develop scalable solutions with Azure Databricks / Synapse Analytics.
• Write optimized SQL scripts, stored procedures, and views in SQL Server.
• Create insightful dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Automate workflows with PowerShell and Power Automate.
• Use Python / PySpark for data transformation and orchestration.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in design/code reviews.
