Elios, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Warehouse Developer in India (Remote) on a contract basis.

The role focuses on building cloud-based data solutions, transformation pipelines, data modeling, and performance tuning across EDW, ODS, data lakes, and data marts. You will work with Informatica, Azure Data Factory, and AWS Redshift to design scalable ingestion frameworks, support data governance, and troubleshoot critical data warehouse issues.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS/EE or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of software development experience, focused on data warehouse applications.
• 2+ years with a cloud data warehouse platform (AWS Redshift).
• 2+ years using ETL tools such as Informatica and Azure Data Factory.
• 2+ years of Python scripting.
• 2+ years working with databases (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle) with stored procedures.

Job Description

Senior Data Warehouse Developer

Location: India (Remote) | Type: Contract | Experience: 5+ years

About the Role

This is a chance for an experienced senior data warehouse developer to work on large-scale data solutions for a next-generation, cloud-hosted data platform. You'll build cloud data solutions and transformation pipelines for a large organization, spanning enterprise and cloud data warehouse and reporting solutions, data modeling, ETL development, and performance tuning.

This role is remote and contract-based in India. It's a good fit for a data engineer who likes building cloud data platforms from proof of concept through production.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the design and maintenance of Operational Data Stores (ODS), Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), data lakes, data marts, and metadata repositories

Build data movement pipelines with ETL tools, including Informatica, Azure Data Factory, and SQL packages, across batch and real-time event streams

Create scalable, reusable ingestion frameworks for structured and semi-structured data, including settlement and reconciliation frameworks

Work with product owners to gather requirements and turn them into logical and physical data models

Create data architecture and data flow diagrams, then present them in design reviews

Build and present proofs of concept for key technology components

Support Master Data Management and Data Governance initiatives

Troubleshoot data warehouse and ODS issues, including time-critical production errors

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field preferred

5+ years of software development experience, primarily with data warehouse applications

2+ years working with a cloud data warehouse platform, primarily AWS Redshift

2+ years using ETL tools such as Informatica and Azure Data Factory

2+ years of Python scripting experience

2+ years working with relational databases, including MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Oracle, with stored procedures and functions

Working knowledge of OLAP data modeling and design, plus solid performance tuning skills

Experience with distributed, highly available systems in Azure and AWS

Preferred

Financial technology domain knowledge

Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, and Azure Cosmos DB

Experience with Azure data services including ADF, Databricks, Cosmos DB, and Azure SQL
