Job summary

Satwic Inc. seeks an experienced cloud data engineer to migrate and build scalable analytics pipelines on Azure.

You will migrate legacy SSIS workloads, design data pipelines with Data Factory, Synapse, and Databricks, and integrate data from diverse sources using Python and SQL. Responsibilities include optimizing ingestion, transformation, and analysis of large datasets while enforcing security, networking, and identity best practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT data and cloud engineering.
• 5+ years with Microsoft Azure deployments, administration, and migrations.
• Experience with Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, Databricks, and Apache Spark.
• Skills in building pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and analysis of large datasets.
• Experience migrating on-prem workloads to Azure using Azure Migrate, ASR, Data Factory, and Azure Database Migration Service.
• Proficiency in SQL, ETL/ELT development, and data modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema).
• Knowledge of cloud networking, identity management, and security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM templates, and automation tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and DevOps methods.
