Job summary

Impact Makers India is hiring a Senior AI Engineer to build cutting‑edge AI/ML, data engineering, and generative AI solutions for real‑world business challenges. You will work with Python, SQL, Databricks, PySpark, and Azure data services, focusing on LLMs, RAG, and Azure OpenAI.

You will design and deploy scalable AI solutions, develop robust data pipelines, and own end‑to‑end deployment and monitoring in a collaborative, growth‑minded team.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of overall IT experience.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in AI Engineering, ML, or Data Engineering.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/IT/AI/Data Science/ML/EC Engineering or related fields.
• Relevant AI/ML, Data Engineering, or Cloud certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy scalable AI/ML models and Generative AI solutions in production.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL pipelines and data workflows.
• Develop LLM‑based applications using modern frameworks and best practices.
• Implement prompt engineering techniques to optimize AI outputs.
• Deploy AI models through APIs and integrate them with enterprise applications.
• Own end‑to‑end development, deployment, monitoring, and optimization.

About the Role

The ideal candidate should have experience in Python, SQL, Databricks, PySpark, Azure Data Services, and Generative AI technologies such as LLMs, RAG, and Azure OpenAI.

Required Skills

• Strong Python programming skills including OOP, API development, automation, and data processing.
• Strong experience in Data Engineering, data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and large‑scale data pipelines.
• Hands‑on experience with ETL tools and data workflows.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and cloud data platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit‑learn.
• Experience working with LLMs and prompt engineering.
• Familiarity with Lang Chain, Llama Index, and Hugging Face.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience with Databricks, PySpark, and distributed data processing frameworks.
• Experience with MLflow, Kubeflow, and Airflow.
• Strong experience in API development, model deployment, and production support.
• B2-level English proficiency or higher.
