Job summary

Devlats Pvt.Ltd. invites an experienced Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and scale our data infrastructure in Hyderabad. You will shape data architecture for high availability, performance, and reliability of pipelines.

You will collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and engineers to deliver robust data models, optimize ETL/ELT processes, and enforce data governance and quality across systems. Mentoring junior engineers and leading code reviews will also be part of the role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering or related experience.
• Proficient in SQL, Python or Scala for pipelines.
• Hands-on with Spark, Kafka or Airflow.
• Cloud experience on AWS, GCP or Azure.

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and scale our next-generation data infrastructure. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping our data architecture, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability of our data pipelines. Tasks

Design, build, and optimize robust ETL/ELT data pipelines to process structured and unstructured data at scale.

Architect and maintain data warehouses, data lakes, and cloud-based data storage solutions (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, AWS Redshift).

Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and software engineers to understand data requirements and deliver reliable data models.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipeline performance to ensure low latency and high data quality.

Implement data governance, security best practices, and data quality frameworks across all systems.

Mentor junior data engineers and lead code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.

Requirements

Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering, software engineering, or a similar data-focused role.

Technical Stack: Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, or Scala for data manipulation and pipeline development.

Big Data Tools: Hands‑on experience with big data processing frameworks like Apache Spark, Kafka, or Airflow.

Cloud Platforms: Proven experience building data solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure.

Data Modeling: Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, data warehousing concepts, and data lake architectures.

Soft Skills: Excellent problem‑solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead projects independently.
