Ideal candidates have 2-5 years of data analysis experience, strong Python and SQL skills, and familiarity with AWS or GCP. You will collaborate across teams, document data schemas, and help ensure data quality and security.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in data analysis and visualization.
• Experience with Python, SQL, Excel, Tableau, Looker or PowerBI.
• Experience with data querying, manipulation, and integration scripting a plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and ensure data quality.
• Design and maintain BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights.
• Curate data sets and build ETL pipelines and SQL queries.
• Identify actionable insights from data trends and correlations.
• Document data processes, schemas, and data sets; promote data security and quality.

We have the stability and brand recognition as a 30-year old company along with the curiosity and energy of a start-up. We are looking to add a Senior Data Engineer to our growing team.

Ideal candidates are passionate about analyzing complex data sets, generating insights, and providing data-driven recommendations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements, perform data collection, and ensure data quality and integrity. Curate data sets including through hands-on analyses and automated tools including web scraping, ETL pipelines, and SQL queries. Conduct in-depth research and analysis to identify new data sources and complement existing data sources. Design and maintain intuitive BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations to effectively communicate complex data and insights. Identify actionable business insights through analysis of data trends, patterns, and correlations. Own documentation of data processes, schemas, and data sets. Build using best practices in security, design, and data quality.

Bachelors in computer science or related technical field. 2-5 years of experience in data analysis (e.g. Python, SQL, Excel, Tableau, Looker, PowerBI) and visualization tools.
