Job summary

Consult Asia is seeking an Experienced Data Engineer to design, develop, and migrate data pipelines using Spark, Python/Scala, and SQL, in a production environment.

You will migrate Hive and Control-M jobs to Airflow/DBT, integrate with Kafka, Solace, S3, MinIO, and deploy on Kubernetes to ensure scalable, automated solutions.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of experience in data engineering.
• Strong expertise with Spark, Python/Scala, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Airflow, DBT, Kafka, and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and migrate data pipelines using Spark and Python/Scala.
• Migrate Hive and Control-M jobs to Airflow/DBT.
• Integrate with Kafka, Solace, S3, MinIO and monitor data flows.
• Deploy on Kubernetes to deliver scalable, automated, production-ready solutions.
