Job summary

Priority Technology Holdings, Inc. in India’s Chandigarh IDC is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own and operate our data integration platform.

You will build and modify data workflows using Node.js and n8n, and partner with the global engineering team to ensure reliability and production stability. The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of experience in data engineering, platform engineering, or DevOps, strong AWS/EKS expertise, and a proven track record in incident management and database work

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of experience in data engineering, platform engineering, or DevOps.
• Strong Node.js experience for building and modifying data workflows.
• Experience with AWS and EKS for cluster management.
• Proficient in MySQL and Snowflake databases.
• Ability to manage production incidents and ensure reliability.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration with the global engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Own and support data integration platform from the India Development Center (IDC), collaborating with the global engineering team.
• Design, build, and modify data workflows using Node.js (and n8n where applicable).
• Provide dedicated production support — monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents.
• Manage and maintain EKS clusters and related AWS infrastructure supporting the platform.
• Apply DevOps best practices for deployment, automation, and infrastructure reliability.
• Document workflows and infrastructure; ensure production readiness and reliability.

Job Description

Role Summary

The Senior Data Engineer will own and support our data integration platform out of our India Development Center (IDC), working in close partnership with our global engineering team. This role is responsible for the creation and modification of data workflows, providing dedicated production support, and ensuring the reliability of the platform's infrastructure. The ideal candidate brings strong DevOps expertise combined with hands-on workflow and cluster management experience, and is comfortable working independently while staying closely aligned with the broader engineering team.

Experience

5 to 8 years of experience in data engineering, platform engineering, or DevOps, with demonstrated seniority in owning production systems.

Core Skills

• Strong hands-on expertise in Node.js for building and modifying data workflows
• Experience with n8n (workflow automation tool) nice to have
• Solid experience with AWS, including EKS and cluster management
• Strong DevOps expertise — deployment, infrastructure automation, and operational reliability
• Database expertise across MySQL and Snowflake
• Ability to independently manage production incidents and drive technical maintenance
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, given close partnership with the

global engineering team
