Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in Data Engineering or similar role.
• Strong Python and SQL (MSSQL/MySQL) proficiency.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on AWS data services (Redshift, S3, Athena); exposure to Snowflake and Glue preferred.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and Kimball modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Build data solutions using Python, AWS, SQL, and Snowflake.
• Modernize legacy data platforms and support on-premises to cloud migration initiatives.
• Develop scalable data models, preferably using Kimball dimensional modeling.
• Ensure data quality, governance, reliability, and performance across data platforms.
• Work with AWS services including Redshift, S3, Athena, and Glue (preferred).
• Optimize cloud-based data warehouses and distributed data processing systems.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and follow data engineering best practices.
• Partner with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering standards, documentation, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, AWS, SQL, and modern data engineering practices, with experience building high-performance data pipelines and cloud-based data platforms.
