Job summary

Azilen Technologies is seeking a seasoned Data Engineer to design and implement scalable data engineering and warehouse solutions. You will manage schemas, tune SQL queries, and perform code reviews to ensure robust data pipelines.

The role requires 5+ years in data engineering with expertise in data platforms, warehousing, and SSAS Tabular models. You will design ingestion pipelines using Kafka, Snowflake, and Python, and model data with DBT across Azure services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering and strong knowledge of Data Platforms and Data Warehousing.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with SSAS Tabular Models.
• Experience designing data ingestion and orchestration pipelines using Kafka, Snowflake, and Python.
• Hands-on experience with DBT for data modeling and pipeline development.

Job description

Design and implement scalable data engineering and data warehouse solutions while managing data schemas, SQL query tuning, and code reviews.

Who You Are:

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with strong knowledge of Data Platforms and Data Warehousing
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with SSAS Tabular Models
• Experience designing data ingestion and orchestration pipelines using Kafka, Snowflake, and Python
• Hands-on experience with DBT for data modeling and pipeline development
• Strong knowledge of SQL, ETL/ELT, Azure Data Factory, APIs, Azure Functions, and Azure Storage
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI and ThoughtSpot
• Proficient in SSAS and DAX
• Experience designing Data Warehouse and analytics solutions
• Good understanding of Data Lake concepts and structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and ownership skills
