Job summary

Comscore is seeking an experienced data/analytic professional to drive cross-functional projects, deliver insights to clients, and support sales initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

You will mentor junior staff, oversee analytics delivery, and continuously improve tools and processes across media measurement offerings.

Qualifications

• 4-8+ years of related experience.
• Proficiency with SQL, Python, PySpark, and JSON.
• Experience with AWS and cloud technologies is a plus.
• Experience in the Media Measurement space is a plus.
• Ability to research new tools to improve functionality and productivity including AI tools.
• 1-2 years of experience with Comscore’s offerings and research methods, or comparable market research experience.
• 1-2 years of experience managing projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve QA and UX.
• Participate in sales calls to discuss custom research initiatives.

Job description

Extracts, transforms, and analyzes data, finding insights and answering questions about the content of the data. Performs analytical hypothesis testing and modeling to provide key insight to internal and external clients. Supports sales function by providing data expertise, feasibility reviews, and detailed analysis of questions raised by internal and external stakeholders. More senior roles are involved in the creation and innovation of Comscore’s offerings to the marketplace and are responsible for managing and leading cross-functional teams of analysts. Some roles create and maintain internal and external user interface and reporting tools. These roles cross all Comscore product areas, including digital, mobile, OTT, and TV.

Key Activities:

• Autonomously initiates and manages cross-functional projects
• Presents findings to internal and external clients, peers, and upper management
• Works with cross-functional teams to implement QA methods; may work on improving user experience
• Participates in sales calls with clients to discuss potential custom research initiatives
• Provides support for pre-sales initiatives
• Manages the execution of custom research projects from outlined service order to completion
• Manages and performs multiple tasks under conditions of fluctuating workloads, competing requirements, and changing deadlines
• Identifies process efficiencies and automation opportunities
• Validates custom analytics with external sources; understands similarities and can explain differences
• Develops and enhances assigned products
• Mentor and train new team members
