We are seeking a self-driven Senior Data Analyst with 7-10 years of experience to deliver accurate reporting, scalable data solutions, and actionable insights for operational and leadership decision-making. The role requires deep expertise in SQL Server, Power BI, Salesforce data, ETL, Azure, database optimization, analytical queries, and job automation.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical depth with exceptional attention to detail, clear communication, and ownership. This individual thrives in a fast-paced environment, proactively seeks clarity when requirements are ambiguous, and consistently delivers trusted data products with minimal supervision.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain executive, operational, and ad hoc reporting using Power BI and SQL Server.
• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable business insights.
• Translate business questions into clear metrics, KPIs, data models, and analytical solutions.
• Write and optimize complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and data transformations.
• Analyze execution plans and improve indexing, query performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Design, build, schedule, monitor, and support ETL pipelines, scripts, and automated data-processing jobs in Azure.
• Create data-validation, reconciliation, exception-reporting, and quality-control processes.
• Extract, integrate, and analyze Salesforce data for enterprise reporting and decision support.
• Partner with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to clarify requirements and present findings clearly.
• Proactively communicate progress, assumptions, risks, blockers, dependencies, and data limitations.
• Own reporting accuracy, completeness, consistency, documentation, and timely delivery.
• Use approved AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity while validating all generated output.
• Provide production support for data pipelines and reporting solutions as business needs require.
• Perform other related duties as assigned. Responsibilities may change based on business needs.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

Preferred Field of Study:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering, MIS, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited institution; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.

Years of Experience:

• 7-10 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, data engineering, or a related discipline.

Required Technical Skills:

• Expert-level SQL Server and T-SQL skills, including complex analytical queries, stored procedures, indexing, execution-plan analysis, and performance optimization.
• Advanced Power BI experience, including data modeling, DAX, dashboard development, refresh strategies, and performance tuning.
• Strong experience with Salesforce reporting, data extraction, integration, and analysis.
• Hands-on experience designing and supporting ETL pipelines, scheduled jobs, and data automation.
• Experience with Azure-based data services and cloud-hosted reporting or analytical solutions.
• Demonstrated experience producing accurate insights and executive-level reporting for leadership decisions.

Preferred Technical Skills:

• Python or C# for data processing, automation, scripting, or ETL development.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or comparable tools.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, source control, CI/CD, data governance, and reporting quality controls.
• Experience in healthcare, healthcare technology, SaaS, or another regulated environment.
