Qualifications

• 5–6 years of experience in data analytics, reporting, dashboard development, or a similar data-focused role.
• Strong experience with Power BI dashboards, including development, maintenance, data validation, and performance troubleshooting.
• Experience in data modelling, star schema design, and dashboard performance optimization.
• Advanced SQL skills to query, join, validate, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
• Proficiency with Power Query and DAX for data modelling and dashboard logic.
• Experience with Databricks or similar cloud-based platforms for data access and validation.

Job Title: Senior Data Analyst Location: Offshore (India)

Role Summary

The Data Analyst is a key role within the reporting and analytics workstream, responsible for supporting the development, maintenance, and quality assurance of Power BI dashboards. This role focuses on transforming data into clear, accurate, and actionable insights for internal teams and client stakeholders. You will work closely with data, analytics, and business teams to validate datasets, troubleshoot reporting issues, and ensure dashboards are reliable, well structured, and aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Dashboard Development & Maintenance

• Support the development, maintenance, and quality assurance of Power BI dashboards
• Translate business requirements into clear dashboard views, metrics, filters, and reporting outputs that support decision‑making

Data Management & Validation

• Manage and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy, completeness, consistency, and readiness for analysis and reporting.
• Perform regular data quality checks, identify gaps or inconsistencies, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Investigate reporting anomalies, validate calculations, and support root-cause analysis to maintain data integrity.
• Document and maintain data definitions, business logic, methodologies, and source changes to ensure transparency and consistency.
• Support the ongoing improvement of data processes, reporting outputs, and analytical solutions to enhance data reliability and usability.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Support

• Work closely with analytics, data governance, media, and client teams to gather requirements, validate outputs, and ensure dashboards answer key business questions.
• Provide clear updates on data issues, dashboard changes, and reporting timelines to support smooth delivery and stakeholder confidence.

Skills & Experience

• 5–6 years of experience in data analytics, reporting, dashboard development, or a similar data-focused role
• Strong experience working with Power BI dashboards, including dashboard development, maintenance, data validation, and performance troubleshooting.
• Experience in data modelling, star schema design, and dashboard performance optimisation
• Advanced SQL skills, with the ability to query, join, validate, and analyse large datasets across multiple data sources.
• Good working knowledge of Power Query and DAX to support data modelling, measure creation, transformations, and dashboard logic.
• Experience working with Databricks or similar cloud-based data platforms to access, validate, and prepare data for reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis, complex formulas, pivot tables, and structured reporting outputs.
• Experience using Microsoft Copilot or AI-enabled tools to improve analysis, documentation, workflow efficiency, and reporting support.
• Python knowledge is a plus, particularly for data analysis, automation, or data quality checks.
• Knowledge of media data, including media investment, performance, PCA, taxonomy, ideally within an agency or client-side environment.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work with stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve data issues.
