Job description

Role Overview: We are seeking a hands‑on Senior D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Developer to join our team in Noida. This is a purely technical individual contributor role with a strong focus on development and enterprise reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• D365 F&O Development – design, develop and maintain customizations using X++ and extension‑based development (no overlayering), work with standard D365 frameworks (SysOperation, Data Entities, Batch jobs, etc.), develop and maintain integrations using OData, REST APIs and custom services, ensure solutions follow Microsoft best practices and are upgrade‑safe, troubleshoot and resolve application, data and integration issues, contribute to code quality through reviews and adherence to development standards.
• Reporting & Data Solutions (Core Focus) – design and develop SSRS reports within D365 F&O, build and maintain Power BI datasets, semantic models and dashboards, translate business requirements into scalable reporting solutions and data models, work with data entities, SQL and external data sources, optimize data extraction and transformation processes across D365 and external systems.
• Power Platform & Automation – support integrations with Dataverse, build and enhance automation solutions using Power Automate, collaborate on Power BI and Power Apps solutions where required, understand and support data flows between D365 F&O and Power Platform.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6–10+ years of hands‑on experience in D365 F&O / AX development.
• Strong expertise in X++ development and extensions.
• Data entities, integrations and D365 architecture fundamentals.
• Proven experience in SSRS report development in D365 F&O.
• Proven experience in Power BI (data modeling, DAX and report building).
• Solid understanding of Finance modules (GL, AP, AR).
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
• Experience with API‑based integrations (OData, REST).
• MB-500: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Developer certification (required).
• Highly valued: strong knowledge of the Power Platform; hands‑on experience with Power Automate (process automation, workflows, integrations).
• Experience with Dataverse / Dual‑write.
• Exposure to Power Apps.
• Familiarity with Azure services (Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus).
• Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD and Lifecycle Services (LCS).
• Soft skills: strong problem‑solving and analytical skills, ability to work independently in a hands‑on development role, clear communication with technical and functional stakeholders, attention to detail and ownership of deliverables.
