Job summary

Clarivate's Information Security Team in Noida, India is seeking a SOC Analyst to monitor events and protect the environment from unauthorized access and cyber-attacks. You will analyze internal events and escalations to ensure timely response.

The role requires 2+ years in security or SOC, and a Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Math or equivalent. Certifications like GIAC or ISC2 are a plus and strong communication and self-directed work habits are valued.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in the security space or SOC environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate the SOC tools and resources and analyze internal events and investigations escalated by the managed SOC.
• Contribute to regular training sessions to facilitate knowledge-sharing within the team and also contribute to the incident response efforts.
• Participate in internal Red/Blue Team activities and discover and eliminate redundancies in the security incident response process.
• Create new and update existing runbooks. Implement and test information security controls in enterprise, cloud, and product environments.
• Stay up to date on current and emerging security threats and effectively operate security tools to mitigate threats where possible.

We are looking for a SOC Analyst to join our Information Security Team in Noida, India. This is an amazing opportunity to work on information security related challenges and to protect the Clarivate environment from unauthorized access and cyber-attacks. You will ensure the monitoring and analysis of events to protect People, Technology and Process addressing all security incidents and ensuring timely escalation.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

• At least 2 years of experience in the security space and/or working in a SOC environment, preferably in cloud-based product development organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent experience

• Relevant security certification (GIAC, ISC2, etc.)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and promote ideas at various levels of the organization.
