Deutsche Bank in Pune, India seeks a Senior Cyber Hygiene Team Lead / Project Manager to lead cyber security initiatives and delivery across cloud security, vulnerability management, and security automation. The role combines project management, governance, and technical oversight with cross-functional teams.

The candidate will mentor staff, drive strategic programs, and ensure on-time delivery while aligning with audit and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Project Management, Cyber Security, Technology Delivery, or Engineering Leadership.
• Proven experience leading large-scale technology or security transformation initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management with senior management, auditors, and risk partners.
• Experience managing project plans, RAID logs, governance forums, and executive reporting.
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid delivery methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of Cyber Hygiene programs, projects, and strategic initiatives.
• Manage the Cyber Hygiene engineering roadmap, priorities, dependencies, risks, and milestones.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Security Engineering, Operations, Cloud, DevSecOps, Application Security, and Platform teams.
• Provide delivery governance through planning, progress tracking, RAID management, status reporting, and stakeholder communication.
• Act as the primary escalation point for project risks, issues, and delivery blockers.
• Drive implementation of security solutions supporting Vulnerability Management, CSPM, CWPP, ACS, and automation initiatives.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with security, audit, and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, backlog prioritization, and demand management activities.
• Produce executive-level reporting, KPIs, and management updates.
• Mentor team members and promote continuous improvement, operational excellence, and collaboration.

The Cyber Hygiene Team Lead / Project Manager is responsible for leading the delivery of Cyber Hygiene engineering initiatives, driving strategic security programs, and coordinating cross-functional teams to improve the organization's security posture. The role combines project management, stakeholder leadership, delivery governance, and technical oversight across cloud security, vulnerability management, application security, and security automation initiatives.

Your key responsibilities

Your skills and experience

Leadership & Project Management

10+ years of experience in Project Management, Cyber Security, Technology Delivery, or Engineering Leadership.

Proven experience leading large-scale technology or security transformation initiatives.

Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage senior management, engineering teams, auditors, and risk partners.

Experience managing project plans, RAID logs, governance forums, and executive reporting.

Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid delivery methodologies.

Cyber Security & Technology

Good understanding of:

Experience with security platforms such as Prisma Cloud, Brinqa, ServiceNow, Tanium, and Application Security Code Scanning (ACS) solutions.

Understanding of CSPM, CWPP, security posture management, and exposure management concepts.

Application Security

Knowledge of Application Security Code Scanning (ACS) and secure software development practices.

Understanding of OWASP Top 10 security risks and remediation approaches.

Ability to work with engineering teams to prioritize and drive remediation of application security findings.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, SAFe, CISSP, or similar certifications.
• Experience within financial services or highly regulated environments.
• Experience managing complex security transformation programs.
• Exposure to cloud security, vulnerability management, and enterprise risk management.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
