Job summary

Senior CRM Data & AI Developer

Position Overview

TEGNA is looking for a Senior CRM Data & AI Developer to join the dynamic engineeringteam. We are looking for a Senior CRM Data & AI Developer to integrate our CRM platformdata with our Snowflake data warehouse. You will analyze and map the migration of CRMdata into our Snowflake-based customer data platform and put AI solutions, includingagent-based workflows, to work inside our CRM and web applications. As we build AIagents that integrate seamlessly with the CRM, you'll also create the user interfaces thatbring them to sales users.

You will bridge the functional and data gaps between the CRM platform and our AI anddata team, turning business needs into clean, well-governed data and working AI featuresthat sales users can rely on every day.

What You’ll Do

• Bridge CRM and AI. Act as the CRM platform subject-matter expert for the salesAI and data team, explaining data models, entities, and business processes andturning requirements into technical solutions.
• Lead the CRM data migration. Analyze, map, and implement the migration ofCRM data into a customer data platform, including data analysis, identity resolution, mapping, and data mastering.
• Build CRM UI. Build intuitive CRM user interfaces, custom components, andworkflow automation that bring data and AI insights to end users.
• Integrate AI solutions. Connect AI models, agents, and services to the CRM andinternal web apps through APIs, platform events, and middleware.
• Develop agentic workflows. Design, test, and refine prompts and build multi-agent workflows with frameworks such as AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar.
• Analyze data. Write complex SQL for data profiling, validation, reconciliation, and analytics across CRM and enterprise data sources.
• Operationalize AI. Apply MLOps practices for deployment, versioning, monitoring, and evaluation so AI features stay reliable in production.
• Champion data governance. Put data governance standards into practice, including data quality, lineage, access controls, and privacy compliance.

What you bring

• 5+ years of hands-on CRM development and administration, with deepknowledge of at least one major CRM platform (e.g., Salesforce, MicrosoftDynamics 365), including its data model and business processes.
• Experience managing CRM data migrations, including into a customer dataplatform, with data analysis and mastering.
• Hands-on CRM UI development experience, including custom components,scripting, and workflow automation.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets, ideally inSnowflake.
• Experience integrating AI solutions with CRM systems and web applications.
• Practical prompt engineering experience with large language models.
• Experience with agentic frameworks such as AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar.
• Working knowledge of MLOps best practices.
• Experience implementing data governance best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical ideas to bothtechnical and business audiences.
• Background in sales, media, marketing analytics, or enterprise data platforms.

Preferred Qualification

• Relevant CRM, data, or AI platform certifications.
• Experience with AI features built into CRM platforms.
• Familiarity with other cloud data platforms such as Databricks, AWS, or Azure
