Write the content that drives organic traffic and builds authority for a WordPress agency with 15+ years of delivery experience. Blog posts, landing pages, case studies, and thought leadership, all written for a technical audience that can tell the difference.
Ahmedabad, India Full-time Posted 2 months ago
What You'll Do
- Research, outline, and write SEO-driven blog posts targeting WordPress, WooCommerce, and web development topics. Every post starts with keyword and SERP analysis before a single word is drafted.
- Write and maintain service landing pages and industry vertical pages that speak to buyer problems, present our approach, and drive contact form submissions.
- Develop client case studies from project data, client interviews, and internal team input. Turn delivery outcomes into stories that demonstrate expertise to prospective buyers.
- Draft thought leadership content for the founder and senior engineers. Capture their voice and technical perspective in articles, LinkedIn posts, and contributed pieces.
- Edit and QA all published content for accuracy, tone, grammar, and SEO alignment before it goes live. Maintain our content guidelines and style standards.
- Track content performance using Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and Google Analytics. Identify what is working, what is decaying, and where the next opportunity sits.
- Collaborate with the design team on visual assets, infographics, and content layouts that support each piece you produce.
What We're Looking For
- 5 to 8 years of experience in content writing or content marketing, with a strong portfolio of published long-form content. Agency or B2B SaaS background preferred.
- Proven SEO writing ability. You understand keyword research, search intent, on-page optimization, and how to structure content that competes in organic search. You can show pages you have ranked.
- Ability to write about technical topics (WordPress development, WooCommerce, web performance, migrations) in a way that is accurate and accessible without dumbing it down.
- Experience conducting subject matter expert interviews and turning raw technical input into polished, publishable content.
- Strong editorial judgment. You can self-edit ruthlessly, spot weak arguments, and rewrite until the piece earns its publish date.
- Working knowledge of content tools: Google Search Console, Ahrefs or Semrush, Google Analytics, and a CMS (WordPress experience is a plus, not a requirement).
- Excellent written English with a natural, human tone. No filler, no fluff, no recycled phrases. Every sentence earns its place.
Nice to Have
- Direct experience writing for a web development or digital agency. Understanding how agencies sell services makes your content sharper from day one.
- Familiarity with WordPress as a CMS. Being able to publish, format, and optimize your own posts in WordPress saves a round trip with the dev team.
- Experience writing case studies or whitepapers that were used in the sales process, not just published for SEO.
- Understanding of E-E-A-T principles and how Google evaluates content quality, authorship, and topical authority.
