Job summary

capSpire is seeking a Senior Consultant, Functional – RightAngle, to implement, upgrade and support CTRM/ETRM solutions for energy trading clients. You will analyze requirements, configure modules, test functionality, and collaborate with technical teams to tailor solutions.

Travel to client sites will be required to ensure successful delivery and client satisfaction. You should bring 10+ years in CTRM/ETRM consulting, strong QA experience, and a deep understanding of front-, middle-, and

Qualifications

• 10+ years in professional services delivering CTRM/ETRM solutions.
• QA/validation experience in CTRM/ETRM systems.
• Strong knowledge of CTRM modules and energy operations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to analyze requirements and identify opportunities for improvement in RightAngle.
• Design, configure, and test functional modules for implementation and integration.
• Document requirements, designs, test plans, and related deliverables.
• Work with technical teams to develop client-specific customizations.
• Support existing solutions with bug fixes and enhancements.
• Perform testing and QA to validate functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Understand front, middle, and back-office operations to meet client needs.
• Ensure scalable, robust, maintainable designs and adherence to processes.
• Travel to client sites as needed to support projects.

Role Overview:

The Senior Consultant, Functional – RightAngle, plays a key role in implementing, upgrading, and supporting RightAngle solutions for energy and commodity trading organizations. This position requires proficiency in commodity lifecycles, CTRM/ETRM systems, and related processes such as deal modeling, risk management, scheduling, invoicing, and accounting. The consultant ensures successful project delivery, provides advisory services to optimize client operations, and delivers a superior client experience throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to analyze business requirements and identify opportunities for improvement within the RightAngle platform.
• Design, configure, and test functional modules, ensuring successful implementation and seamless integration into client operations.
• Document business requirements, implementation designs, test plans, and related deliverables.
• Work closely with technical teams to develop customizations tailored to client-specific needs.
• Support existing solutions by addressing bug fixes, enhancements, and operational issues.
• Conduct comprehensive testing and quality assurance activities to validate solution functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Gain an understanding of front, middle, and back-office operations to meet client business needs effectively.
• Ensure software designs prioritize scalability, robustness, maintainability, and integration with other systems.
• Follow best practices, maintain documentation standards, and adhere to resolution process workflows.
• Travel to client locations as needed to support project requirements.

Key Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in professional services delivering CTRM/ETRM solutions, with expertise in RightAngle S15 or higher.
• BS in Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in quality assurance and validation of CTRM/ETRM solutions.
• Strong knowledge of key modules within CTRM systems and commodity/energy operations.
• Proven ability to collaborate with technical teams to create custom solutions.
• Proficiency in CTRM systems to address complex business challenges across multiple markets.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality solutions independently or as part of a team.
• Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with a focus on client success.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience working in RightAngle Functional delivering CTRM/ETRM solutions with S15 or higher
