Job summary

EY in Bangalore is seeking a Senior Consultant for National-Tech Consulting under CNS, TC – Technology Strategy & Transformation. The role focuses on delivering resilient services leveraging Kubernetes, AWS, and microservices, with emphasis on Terraform-based IaC and cost optimization considerations.

The ideal candidate has strong software architecture and cloud experience, capable of leading cross-functional teams while ensuring compliance and high-impact business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience developing resilient, highly available services.
• Experience with Kubernetes and AWS core services (serverless/containerized: Lambda, ECS, or EKS).
• Experience with REST API development and Microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and GitHub.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Knowledge of FinOps/Cloud Cost Optimization is a plus.
• Familiarity with data pipelines or data warehousing (Snowflake/Databricks).

The opportunity: Senior Consultant-National-Tech Consulting-CNS - TC - TECHNOLOGY STRATEGY & TRANSFORMATION - Bangalore

Responsibilities Technical Excellence

• 6+ years of experience developing resilient, highly available services.
• Strong proficiency in at least one core language: Python, Go, or Java (In case of Java - Functional programming is mandatory).
• Deep experience with Kubernetes & AWS core services (specifically serverless/containerized: Lambda, ECS, or EKS).
• Experience with REST API development and Microservices architecture
• Knowledge of CI/CD and GitHub
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Candidate having FinOps/Cloud Cost Optimization knowledge is an advantage
• Basic familiarity with data pipelines or data warehousing (Snowflake/Databricks).
