Job summary

WSP India is seeking a Senior Consultant - Physical Security to lead security integration across multidisciplinary projects, including transportation and public infrastructure. You will collaborate with architects, engineers and clients to design robust security measures and response plans.

The role requires 8+ years of security consulting experience, a degree in security management (masters/PSP preferred), and proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in security management or a related field.
• Master’s degree or relevant PSP certification preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in security consulting, with planning/design focus.
• Proven ability to integrate security across multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong knowledge of standards, risk methodologies and security tech.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with project teams/clients.
• Proficiency in design tools (AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam) is an asset.

Job Description

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and planners to integrate security measures into project designs, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
• Provide expert guidance on physical security systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and perimeter protection.
• Prepare detailed security plans, specifications, and reports to support project delivery and client presentations.
• Engage with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to address security concerns and ensure project alignment with industry best practices.
• Stay updated on emerging security trends, technologies, and threats to provide forward-thinking solutions.
• Support project teams in managing budgets, timelines, and resources related to security deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in security management or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (eg. PSP) preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in security consulting, with a focus on planning and design projects.
• Proven expertise in integrating security solutions into multidisciplinary projects, such as transportation, commercial, or public infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of security standards, risk assessment methodologies, and physical security technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse project teams and clients.
• Proficiency in design and planning tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam) and security software is an asset.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with local and international regulations, including building codes and security guidelines.
