Job summary

Bristlecone is seeking a Senior Consultant to deliver SAP solutions with a focus on EWM. You will lead ABAP development for SAP S/4HANA projects, design and implement scalable EWM solutions, and collaborate with functional teams to align technical work with business goals.

The role requires hands-on ABAP, OOP, and CDS work, plus experience guiding development teams in Agile environments. You will also support pre-sales activities and ensure high-quality technical delivery.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of SAP ABAP development with a focus on EWM.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA migrations and implementations.
• Strong ABAP programming including OOP and CDS views.
• Experience leading ABAP development teams and collaborating with stakeholders.

Job description

As a Senior Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative SAP solutions to our clients. Your primary focus will be on SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), utilizing your extensive ABAP development skills and experience in SAP S/4HANA projects. Working closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders, you will design, develop, and support technical solutions, ensuring they align with our clients' unique needs and business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of ABAP developers, providing technical guidance and support.
• Design and develop SAP EWM solutions, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Implement and integrate SAP EWM with other SAP modules and external systems.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to SAP EWM.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends, especially in the EWM domain.
• Document and maintain technical design and development artifacts.
• Provide pre‑sales support, including solution demonstrations and proposal development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with a strong focus on SAP EWM.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP EWM functionality and its integration with other SAP modules.
• Hands‑on experience in SAP S/4HANA projects, including migration and implementation.
• Excellent understanding of ABAP programming, including OOP concepts and ABAP CDS views.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Experience in leading and managing ABAP development teams.
• Good understanding of SAP architecture and system landscapes.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and industry trends.

Information Security Responsibilities

• Understand and adhere to Information Security policies, guidelines and procedures, practicing protection of organizational data and information systems.
• Participate in information security training and act responsibly when handling information.
• Report all suspected security and policy breaches to the InfoSec team or appropriate authority (CISO).
• Understand and adhere to the additional information security responsibilities as part of the assigned job role.
