Job summary

EY is hiring a Senior Consultant for National Business Consulting Risk (CNS - RISK - RISK MANAGEMENT) based in Hyderabad. You'll contribute to risk assessments, internal controls, and regulatory compliance across industries, helping clients identify and mitigate threats while enabling strategic decisions.

You will work with cross‑functional teams on enterprise, technology, and financial services risk projects, applying a client‑centric approach and practical solutions to complex challenges

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in commerce, business, or related field.
• 6-8 years of relevant experience in risk and contracts.
• Experience in enterprise risk, internal control, or regulatory compliance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Enterprise Risk, Technology Risk, and Financial Services Risk initiatives.
• Support client engagements with risk assessments and strengthening controls.
• Participate in contract review, procurement workflows, and vendor governance.
• Help implement CLM processes and standardize risk-related procedures.
• Collaborate with client teams to deliver practical risk solutions.

The 3 key fields of play are : Enterprise Risk - helps clients identify and address key risk areas, while building the agility to respond quickly. Financial Services Risk - helps clients in the financial sector to identify, manage and monitor the risks in their business. It is done through a transformative and agile approach including process and procedures, risk, data modeling and analytics, reporting to stakeholders and third parties, business requirements (for software selection and IT implementation), analysis of assets and liabilities, and capital and liquidity management.

Your key responsibilities

• Technical Excellence
• Strong knowledge of contract review processes with the ability to identify key commercial, legal, and operational risks.
• Experience in procurement operations, including coordination of sourcing, approvals, and compliance-focused workflows.
• Proficient in vendor management practices to support contract governance, performance tracking, and issue resolution.
• Hands-on exposure to CLM implementation, including contract lifecycle design, process standardization, and system adoption.
• Ability to manage client and team deliverables effectively while maintaining accuracy, structure, and risk control in engagements.
