Job summary

Beghou seeks a Consultant in Data Warehousing to design and implement robust data architectures, ensuring efficient data integration and governance. The role includes delivering strategic insights to improve decision making and training internal teams to become more data-driven.

You will lead project teams, optimize ETL processes, and present results to clients and internal stakeholders. Strong US-hours overlap and experience with U.S. pharmaceutical datasets are preferred.

Qualifications

• Engineering/Master’s Degree with strong academic performance.
• 5–8 years of relevant consulting experience.
• Deep understanding of data management, modeling and analytics.
• Familiarity with Tableau/Power BI and ETL integrations.
• Proficiency with SQL, Python or R and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical terms and lead design/development of data warehouse and reporting solutions.
• Evaluate and optimize ETL processes and DB performance.
• Define project scope and approach with leadership; manage issues and hypotheses.
• Synthesize findings and present recommendations to clients and internal teams.
• Communicate complex concepts with clear frameworks and visuals.
• Assist in managing timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communication.
• Lead DW implementation with minimal supervision and onshore client liaison.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, and inform stakeholders of outcomes.

We'll trust you to

• Translate business requirements into technical terms and leads project teams in the design and development of data warehouse and reporting solutions that solve business problems
• Evaluate and assist in optimizing ETL processes and database performance to enhance overall system efficiency
• Works with project leadership to define project scope and development approach for each project, including conducting issue analysis and hypothesis development
• Synthesizes findings, develops recommendations, and communicates results to clients and internal teams
• Distill complex concepts into easy‑to‑understand frameworks and presentations
• Assist in managing project timelines, budgets, and scopes while ensuring effective communication among team members and stakeholders
• Assumes project management responsibilities for DW implementation on each project with minimal supervision, including managing onshore/client communication, leading meetings, drafting agendas, managing timelines and serving as a key client contact for project discussions
• Monitors progress, manages risk and ensures key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes
• Assists in supporting management, including promoting employee engagement, recruiting, training, and providing ongoing education, employee mentorship and coaching, contributes to internal initiatives as needed
• Work with leadership on any business unit related initiatives such as process improvement or innovation initiatives
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines

You’ll need to have:

• Engineering/Master’s Degree from a Tier‑I/Tier‑II institution/university in Computer Science or relevant concentration, with evidence of strong academic performance
• 5–8 years of relevant consulting‑industry experience
• Deep understanding of data management best practices, data modeling and data analytics
• Familiarity with data visualization and business intelligence tools like Tableau and PowerBI, including their integration with ETL outputs
• Strong understanding of U.S. pharmaceutical datasets and their applications
• Logical thinking and problem‑solving skills along with an ability to collaborate
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products & data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R)
• Strong project management and people management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences
• Strong organizational abilities and effective time management skillsAbility to thrive in an international matrix environment and willingness to support US clients during US working hours with 3–4 hours of overlap
• Awareness of latest technologies related (but not limited to) to cloud platform services, visualization, data management
