Job summary

Wipro requires a Senior Cloud Network & Connectivity Lead to own cloud and hybrid network connectivity across AWS, datacenter, and third-party environments. The role emphasizes design, security, and operation across VPCs, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPN, and hub-and-spoke patterns.

The candidate will drive incident response, SLA governance, disaster recovery planning, and cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and suppliers. Strong experience in regulated settings is valued.

Qualifications

• Strong AWS networking experience, including VPCs, subnets, routing, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPN and hybrid connectivity.
• Experience designing and supporting enterprise networking across datacentre, cloud and hybrid environments.
• Good understanding of hub-and-spoke network patterns, inspection VPCs and centralized routing models.
• Strong firewall experience, ideally Fortinet / FortiGate.
• Experience with firewall rule scoping, port-opening, rule validation and recertification.
• Knowledge of WAF, application delivery and internet ingress/egress patterns.
• DNS and IP addressing coordination experience.
• Experience supporting datacentre-to-cloud migrations or network transformation programmes.
• Strong troubleshooting experience across L2/L3 networking, routing, firewall and connectivity issues.
• Experience producing or reviewing HLDs, LLDs and operational support documentation.
• Ability to work across internal teams and third-party suppliers.
• Experience working in regulated, audit-focused or control-driven environments.

Responsibilities

• Triaging and resolution of tickets-Establish incident monitoring protocols and provide technical guidance to enable permanent fixes for recurring issues.
• SLA Monitoring-Review SLA performance across the team, represent the function in meetings, and ensure consistent delivery quality.
• Performance tuning and optimization-Collaborate with technical teams in managing production support activities regarding incident resolution, efficient deployments, and implementation of changes.
• Perform system Improvements-Collaborate with technical teams to review mitigation measures and proposed improvement actions.
• Handling disaster recovery-Develop disaster recovery and data backup plans to ensure system resilience and quick restoration in case of disruptions.
• Reporting and stakeholder engagement-Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), manage client expectations, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Team Management-Supervise team members by overseeing daily operations, conducting performance appraisals, and providing feedback.
• Knowledge base and continuous learning Update and maintain documentation for complex issues, share best practices within the team, and support ongoing knowledge enhancement to improve service efficiency.
