Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior CAD Engineer to deploy and support our front end tools, develop scripts to automate regression and debug flows, and collaborate with our design, implementation, and verification teams.

What you'll do

1. Deploy and support front-end tools, such as RTL simulators, low power tools, static RTL checkers like Lint, CDC/RDC/SDC/DFT, and formal verification.
2. Develop scripts to automate regression and debug flows, and enable Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
3. Streamline utilization of compute infrastructure using load distribution tools.
4. Identify and prioritize the needs of internal users and develop capabilities for them.
5. Use scripts proficiently to integrate tools, repositories, and compute infrastructure.
6. Configure and maintain project progress dashboards.
7. Interface with EDA vendors for license and tool installations.
8. Deploy tools and methodologies across geographies for global teams working together.

What you need to have

1. B.Tech/B.E in Computer Engineering or related disciplines (Electrical, Electronics).
2. 10+ years of relevant experience in CAD or related fields.
3. 4+ years in a CAD role for a multi-hundred million gate Silicon ASIC project.
4. Knowledge of ASIC flow.
5. Proficiency in Python, Bash, C, and Makefiles.
6. Experience in Linux system administration (e.g., Redhat Enterprise).
7. Proficiency with distributed version control systems like Git or Mercurial.
8. Eager to learn, quick to adapt, and capable of timely execution.
9. Experience with standard industry CAD tools.

Nice-to-haves

1. Experience with Kubernetes or LSF Systems.
2. Experience with HW Design Flows, SystemVerilog, Verilog, EDA/CAD tools, and flows.
3. Experience with JavaScript, CSS, and web development frameworks.
