Job summary

Siemens in Bangalore is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - C++ Developer (Windows) to join the Substation automation team. You will design, develop and test software components with 5-8 years of experience and strong C++/C++11 knowledge.

You will analyze requirements, implement solutions, perform unit testing and defect fixes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliveries. Exposure to AI tools like GHCP and Claude Code is a plus.

Qualifications

• Overall, 5-8 years of experience in Software design and development using C++.
• B.E/B. Tech/M. Tech (Computer Science, Information Science, Electronics)
• Strong knowledge of C++/C++11, OOPS concepts, Design principles and patterns
• Good knowledge/working experience on GIT, JFrog Artifactory.
• Flexibility and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Sound problem-solving skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good Team player.
• Can drive the topics more on independent basis with minimal guidance with self-exploration.
• Exposure to AI tools like GHCP, Claude Code.
