Applied Materials, Inc. in Bangalore, India is seeking a Senior Buyer to ensure supply continuity and procurement for our manufacturing facilities.

You will manage materials, supplies, machinery, and services while coordinating with engineering, manufacturing, and program managers to meet MRP demand. The role calls for strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, inventory management, and cross-functional collaboration to drive cost reductions while maintaining quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7–9 years of purchasing/indirect materials experience.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain and MRP processes.
• Experience negotiating with suppliers and driving cost reductions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure supply continuity to enable manufacturing with speed and quality.
• Lead cross-functional team to resolve supply issues with key stakeholders.
• Drive purchasing to obtain lowest cost while ensuring quality and delivery.
