Job summary

Deutsche Bank AG in Bangalore seeks a Delivery/Project Manager (AVP) to lead Snowflake platform delivery and extensions. You will guide engineering teams and stakeholders to achieve time‑and‑budget increments, while building knowledge of feature delivery across Snowflake.

This role goes beyond administration, requiring hands‑on delivery and process optimization. The position emphasizes cross‑team coordination, proactive visibility of targets, and governance against standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in platform and data engineering with Agile methods (Scrum, Kanban, XP).
• CSM certification is highly welcomed.
• 3+ years as a project manager.
• 3+ years as an application manager or product owner (data integration app).
• 2+ years in DB IT landscape and processes is welcome.
• 3+ years using Jira, Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Drive delivery sequencing, product increments and maturity for engineering teams.
• Track delivery progress with engineering teams in regular cadence.
• Provide visibility and communicate delivery targets and progress.
• Identify bottlenecks and improvement potentials for processes, skills and deliverables.
• Remediate impediments and escalate as needed.
• Manage cross‑team dependencies with stakeholders upstream and downstream.
• Coordinate change management across environments and teams.
• Maintain dependency maps between deliverables and cross‑team interfaces.
• Create transparency in collaboration patterns to derive best practices.
• Maintain capacities, skills, budgets and onboarding/offboarding activities.
• Maintain risk and impediments register for management visibility.
• Ensure delivery processes satisfy corporate standards.
• Coach the team to collaborate effectively internally and with external stakeholders.

Delivery/Project Manager, AVP Job Description: Job Title- Delivery/Project Manager, AVP Location- Bangalore, India Role Description You drive the delivery of the set up and extension of the Snowflake Platform. Together with Product and Project Manager you steer the delivery of engineering teams and other stakeholders to reach the defined increments in time and budget. The role is not only a administrative role, but you also need to have or build up knowledge about the different ways features and functionalities can be delivered on the Snowflake Platform.

• Coach the team to collaborate effectively in the team but also with team-external stakeholders.

Your skills and experience

• More than 5 years of experience working in a platform and data engineering organization using common Agile methods (Scrum, Kanban, XP)
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification is highly welcom
• more than 3 years experience as a project manager
• more than 3 years experience as an application manager or product owner (accountable for a data integration application)
• more than 2 years of experience in DB IT landscape and processes is very welcome
• more than 3 years experience in tools like Jira, Confluence etc.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
