Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is seeking a skilled functional analyst to collect, challenge and agree on business requirements for digitalizing key processes, acting as a product owner between business and IT development teams.

You will translate requirements into detailed functional specifications, write best-practice documentation, train administrators and ensure support during deployment and ongoing operations, while auditing the use of new tools to enforce standards.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience analyzing and challenging processes.
• Knowledge of UML and diagramming tools.
• Master's degree in business/computer/science fields.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of service oriented software architecture.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Act as a functional expert to collect, challenge and agree on business requirements for digitalizing business processes;
• Translate business requirements/processes into functional specifications and give detailed judgement on business complexity to promote simplification;
• Act as a product owner for the business processes and be responsible for the communication and cooperation between business and IT development teams;
• Write and maintain best practice documentation and train administrators and key users;
• Ensure level 2 support during transition life cycle (deployment) and level 3 support during operational life cycle;
• Audit and review use of the new tools to ensure implementation of best practice processes;
• Model the requirements into user stories (work items for development team) with the appropriate set of artefacts.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:(maximum 500 characters (not including spaces) for short position posting and for posting on Eurofins website and career portals)

• Self-motivated, professional team player with customer focus;
• Affinity with and good understanding of IT concepts and digital technologies;
• University degree in Business Engineering, Computer Science or similar educational background;

• Experience in agile development methods (scrum), preferably using Azure DevOps;
• Preferable: experience with workflows and related IT solutions.
