Job summary

Egis India Consulting Engineers Pvt Ltd in Bengaluru, India, seeks a Senior BIM Coordinator to lead and coordinate Building Information Modeling efforts across complex projects, ensuring seamless integration of multi-disciplinary designs and compliance with industry standards.

You will implement BIM quality control, mentor a team of BIM professionals, and drive the adoption of BIM standards, BEP, and best practices while coordinating with designers, project leads, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 20+ years experience in Structural Modeling and Detailing.
• Deep knowledge of concrete and steel modeling and detailing.
• Proficient in 3D modeling tools: Revit Structures, Tekla, AutoCAD, Navisworks.
• Strong BIM/CAD standards knowledge and ability to set up BIM models.
• Leadership experience managing and mentoring BIM teams.
• Ability to read multi-disciplinary drawings (Architecture, MEP, Facade).

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior BIM Coordinator to join our team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will lead and coordinate Building Information Modeling (BIM) efforts across complex projects, ensuring seamless integration of multi-disciplinary designs and adherence to industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 20 years of experience in Structural Engineering Modeling and Detailing
• Extensive knowledge of Structural Concrete and Structural Steel Modeling and Detailing
• Proficiency in 3D modeling and review tools, including Revit Structures, Tekla, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
• Strong understanding of BIM/CAD standards and ability to set up industry-standard BIM models
• In-depth knowledge of project requirements such as BEP, LOIN Matrix, MIDP, MDS, NWC, and NWD
• Expertise in high-rise building systems and mixed-use building structures
• Ability to read and interpret multi-disciplinary drawings (Architecture, MEP, Facade, etc.)
• Proven leadership experience in managing and mentoring BIM teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams
• Experience in implementing and maintaining BIM quality control systems
• Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in BIM technology
• Demonstrated ability to make informed decisions and meet project goals
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
