Job summary

Ramboll Group A/S in Mumbai (and other India offices) seeks an experienced BIM Architect to develop and manage Building Information Models for mission-critical Data Center projects from Concept through Construction Support. The role requires strong Revit skills, BIM workflows, multidisciplinary coordination, clash detection, and construction-ready documentation.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in Architectural BIM Modeling.
• Minimum 3 years using Revit full-time.
• Minimum 2 years of Data Center / Mission Critical / Industrial Projects.
• Bachelor of Architecture or Diploma with BIM experience may be considered.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate architectural models with structural, mechanical, electrical, ELV, ICT, and security teams.
• Lead BIM coordination meetings and track issues (BIM Issue Tracking).
• Prepare IFC/GA drawings and BIM sheets; maintain drawing registers and model versions.
• Maintain BIM standards, templates, and sheet management across projects.
• Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and provide construction support.
• Support data center planning, including data hall layouts and equipment clearances.

The BIM Architect will be responsible for developing, managing, and coordinating Building Information Models (BIM) for mission-critical Data Center projects from Concept Design through IFC and Construction Support.

The role requires strong expertise in Autodesk Revit, BIM workflows, multidisciplinary coordination, clash detection, and production of construction-ready documentation. The BIM Architect will work closely with Architects, Structural Engineers, Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection, ELV, ICT, and BIM teams to ensure accurate, coordinated, and constructible designs.

Experience on Hyperscale Data Centers such as AWS, Google, Microsoft, Meta, Nxtra, Yondr, AirTrunk, Digital Realty, Equinix, or similar projects will be highly preferred.
