Job summary

Jobtailor is looking for an experienced BI professional to architect and deliver Power BI solutions with robust data modeling and dashboards. You will integrate data from SQL, Oracle, flat files, Athena, and SharePoint to provide a comprehensive reporting view.

The role requires strong SQL skills, DAX, and experience with Azure data services, plus excellent stakeholder management. AI/ML knowledge with Python or R is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering/CA/management.
• 3+ years of experience in BI or data analytics.
• Proficiency in SQL; DAX, Power BI skills.
• Experience with Azure data services (ADF, SQL, Synapse).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• AI/ML experience with Python or R is a plus.

• Architect and design end‑to‑end Power BI solutions, including data modeling and dashboard/report development
• Integrate data from SQL database, Oracle database, Flat files, Amazon Athena, Web‑based, MS teams, Sharepoint to create a comprehensive view of the reports
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Enforce best practices for Power BI development, deployment, and lifecycle management
• Should be able to convert business requirements into BI solutions
• Perform data analysis using SQL queries
• Highlight / escalates risks / concerns with respect to tasks assigned as needed to the immediate supervisor

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in engineering/Computer Applications/Management.
• 3+ years of experience in BI and or data analytics.
• Skilled in DAX, Power Query, Power Pivot and Power View
• Proficiency in SQL is required.
• Experience with Azure Data Services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Synapse Analytics).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• AI/ML experience and knowledge in Python or R for data analysis is nice to have.
